Intrum Justitia, Europe's leading provider of credit management services, has launched Fair Pay Web - a tailor-made, secure online collections management tool - to enable customers placing trade debts for recovery to monitor progress in real time, at their convenience.
Designed by customers for customers, the user friendly Fair Pay Web allows users to load details of new accounts, track progress, send Intrum Justitia electronic messages on specific debts, and download real-time reports in a format of choice consequently increasing the efficiency of the client/ agency relationship.
Following a successful pilot, Fair Pay Web has been launched to 100 England-based clients to date. Initial take up is very strong and almost half of these clients immediately began to use it. Intrum Justitia plans to continue with a wide scale rollout in the coming months and is expecting more positive feedback from clients. In addition, 48 new business cases have been created through the new management tool.
Martin Sampson, Head of Finance and Contracts for Bombardier Flexjet Europe1, was involved in the development of Fair Pay Web and is a user of the tool. He said, "Fair Pay Web is a real breakthrough in a new era for account management and raises the bar for the industry."
A key benefit provided by Fair Pay Web is rapid reporting. A wide range of reports are available online including weekly activity reports, payment reports, detailed status reports and performance analysis. This enables real-time reporting and easy access to flexible information in the format of the user's choice.
Shaun Purrington, Intrum Justitia's Commercial Director, said, "The take up of Fair Pay Web has been extremely successful given that customers are just beginning to investigate the opportunities that this tool provides. The online reporting function has been particularly popular. This is not surprising when you consider all the benefits it offers - from weekly activity reports to detailed performance analysis - all in real-time without the typical long paper trails. Intrum Justitia will continue to work with clients in user-groups to help to understand how we can support the continuous improvement of their credit management processes."
Fair Pay Web is already successful in other Intrum Justitia Group offices throughout Europe and enables cross-boarder credit management. This facility supports central service centers for credit management in particular. The next versions of Fair Pay Web are already in development, which will introduce extra functionality and are planned for the New Year.
Intrum Justitia is Europe's leading credit management services (CMS) group with revenues of £213 million and around 2,900 employees in 21 European countries.
